Samvad Samajik Sansthan is a non-profit organization established in the year 1998 with the objective of promoting holistic social development, ensuring equal opportunities, and fostering social harmony. The primary aim of the organization is to establish meaningful dialogue and coordination among communities, governance systems, and development institutions, working consistently towards the empowerment of children, women, and marginalized groups. The organization’s working approach is based on the principles of dialogue, transparency, and accountability. Organisation believes that development can be sustainable only when the community itself becomes an active participant in its own development journey.
In line with this approach, the organization prioritizes the knowledge, experience, and participation of the community in all its programs. The major focus areas of the organization include child protection and development, women’s empowerment, livelihood enhancement, and ensuring effective access to government schemes. The organization has made efforts to bring positive change in rural communities through various initiatives related to education, health, nutrition, social security, and sustainable livelihoods.
Samvad Samajik Sansthan has organized awareness and capacity-building programs in collaboration with community representatives, panchayat leaders, and local leadership within its operational areas. As a result of these efforts, there has been a notable improvement in the quality, transparency, and effectiveness of development programs. The organization has promoted community-based participation in the effective implementation of major Government of India schemes such as the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA). The organization works particularly with children affected by sexual abuse, child labor, and trafficking, as well as with women belonging to rural and marginalized communities.
